We had a chapter reunion back in 2001 - every single alum, including those from our local, was invited, unless I definitely knew that they had been terminated.

Being a very diverse chapter has its drawbacks. One of them being that occasionally you end up with 2 people who just can't stand each other. I informed everyone that if they came, they needed to suck it up...meaning no bringing up crap from the past, and no bitchiness.

Well believe it or not, everyone listened to me, and everyone had fun. I saw people talking to each other who NEVER talked be fore. And we were all so, so, glad we did this, because 3 days later was the 9/11 attacks. To have that time with each other so fresh in our minds definitely helped me.

Go to all the events, and have fun. You never know who you might connect with, and maybe once other people hear you are going, they'll want to attend as well.
