Grrr...I had such a hard time using my cell phone when the towers in North Florida were down after Ivan. I kept my 850 area code, but I had no idea that, to receive calls, I was dependent on the 850 towers. Damn you, AT&T!
Hopefully, you had a landline. So many of my friends use their home area codes and are SOL if something happens at home.
