I hear you on the flooding. Not that I should be complaining or anything, but...all of these hurricanes are screwing with my research for my one class.
on a bright note, my supervisor informed me that downtown newark (where i will be working) floods when it drizzels, so i bought fun rubber rain boots! i loooove them!!
my grandparents are in west palm beach and i have family friends in winterhaven. the folks in winterhaven called when we were out and left a voicemail on the machine; she says "hi. we're still alive in fl. hear some jeanne." the next few minutes are some winds. she stuck the phone outside of the window for our listening pleasure
