Ummm...landfall was still made in Alabama.
The map says Walton County. Having been born in Fort Walton Beach, I know it is not in Walton County. Nor is Pensacola, which received much more damage than FWB. Mary Esther is right between FWB and Pensacola.
The map is inaccurate. But, what do I know?
