Your roomate broke the buddy code of hitting on someone you like, especially since you told him about it right before you got there. Definitely let him know that is not cool. And as for finding out if they messed around I doubt he'd tell you the truth. Go to Ashley's later and find out what really happened. If she isn't interested in your roomate let her know that you are interested in her.
