This show really baffles me -- it seems like every season, the women get more and more catty to each other, and I don't get it. What's the point of being all mean to each other to compete for the guy? What's the point of wanting to "win" at any cost?
The mature, sensible way to play the game would be to try to spend as much time with fisher dude as possible to see if your relationship with him develops and if you both really dig each other. Being mean to the other women has absolutely no bearing on that at all, and why would anybody want to win if she wasn't really into him or he wasn't really into her? You could go through the whole game being perfectly nice to the other women, and I don't see how it would hurt you at all as long as you don't tell them too much of your business.
I thought that dental woman from Denver was freaky too, the way she was crying about her connection with him even though it looked like she had spent almost no time with him. They must get some pretty unstable women as contestants -- I've never met anyone in real life who is such a freak about wanting to land the dude, and they're all talking crazy shit about how they can see themselves marrying him after 30 seconds. It's a fascinating world that I do not understand.
