Tom, if somebody is misrepresenting herself on GC, I think it's everyone's business. As a member of an NPC sorority and an alumna initiate, I think it's important that members of organizations really, really REALLY get to know potential alumnae members to make sure that they're fabulous women who are going to be assets to our sororities. Sometimes I worry that as more and more people start to seek out alumnae initiation, there will be those who are not appropriate candidates, and I for one am not afraid to say so rather than just blindly supporting everyone who posts on GC saying she wants to be an alumna initiate. If someone is posting on GC and saying things that don't make sense, I see no problem in pointing it out -- I'd certainly appreciate it if someone who came off as dishonest decided to pursue alumna initiation with my organization and a GCer pointed it out to us.
