Akron is definately home to the Thursday night start to the weekend. If you wanted to know if someone was going to be out that night, all you had to do was show up and find out.
The trend used to be BW3's for ladies night till 12 (dollar drinks/dollar shots) and then head over across the street to Mannys for $5 draft pitchers. Nice.
Now its going downtown to the many bars down there or even a combination of that and the above. Still many good times either way and I sometimes wish I still went as often as I did.
