IntRA-fraternity fighting is another phenomenon. I've seen guys from my chapter really go at it in the grass and muck out back. I definitely think it was hormonal based, and blood was drawn. The winner extends a hand to the loser, no hard feelings.
Maybe it's more of a good thing than we realize. These guys were mostly ROTC at the time and some were later sent to Iraq, so it was good training.
I also feel that guys who are used to fighting are less afraid of it, and less likely to use a weapon out there in real life. But that's just my opinion.
