Truth - It boggles my mind that a guy (yeah, not NOT my best friend) would seriously feel the need to pay for literally everything . . . rather than chivalrous or old-fashioned, it's anachronistic at best, and arrogant and abasing at worst.
I like paying for things, but it would be completely dick to 'force' some poor girl to have me 'provide' for her all the time. She's not exactly burning her bra by whipping out the wallet, just being a real human being.
