The trolly ran right in the middle of St. Charles Ave and was the main way to commuter from area to area.
Bourbon Street was different.

Shut the hell up! No WAY! The Ponchatrain. My best friend in the world from college moved to NO about two years ago, and lives in the apt building RIGT behind the Ponchatrain. As a matter of fact, when I go to see her, I just take the airport shuttle to the ponchatrian, then walk 1/2 block to her apartment. CRAZY! Had a few drinks at Igor's next door, and incidentally the MTV Real World house is across the street from the ponchatrain. Having a few drinks at Circle bar on Lee Circle, hookin it up at Harrah's, its all good. Cant wait. Two weeks baby! Taking the trolley up to audoban park to stand on the levy and lok at the miss. Eatin at Jack Dempsy's. If it's green its trouble, if its fried its double! OOOHHH!
