I to do not mind paying for things on a date.... I kinda like it to be 50/50. I once dated a guy who liked to throw his money around to impress people, and he would NEVER let me pay for anything. For 4 months I didn't pay for a single thing, and it actually got annoying... I mean seriously dude, I can afford to pay for my own McDonalds.
It actually made me feel worthless to not even be able to take HIM out once in awhile. Ok, end of rant.
Michelle is right, this thread is a great place for us single people to share stories and ask for advice from other people in the same situation. My best friends are engaged, and when they hear my stories, they usually just shake their heads at me. They like hearing about it, but they just don't understand anymore. It's nice to talk to other single people!
