DC itself didn't have any tornadoes, but its suburbs sure did. This is what one did to a neighborhood in Chantilly, VA (about 25 miles from DC):
Plus, there was an F3 in Fauquier County, VA (about 60 miles from DC)!

That's a STRONG one for this area, since we're not used to having ANY tornadoes!
I was still on vacation when the storm rolled through, but I was watching the news and wasn't happy to hear about all the tornadoes in Northern VA, especially since quite a few of them were not far from my house. I haven't personally seen any damage, though, since coming home.
I sincerely hope that Jeanne stays out at sea!
