ZTA does not recognize an 'active' or an 'inactive' status. You are either a collegian or an alumna. If you graduated with a bachelor's degree you are an alumna. Even if you return to school to pursue a second undergraduate degree, you are still considered to be an alumna.

If you leave your collegiate chapter before graduation you can either apply for early alumnae status or resign your membership. If you resigned your membership and were in good standing with the chapter, you can rejoin the collegiate chapter if you return to school. If you did not apply for alumnae status and wish to do so at a later date, you can gain alumnae status (in good standing) by paying all related dues and fees for the time remaining in your collegiate membership to IO.
