first of all, realize that with a field like IP, they're close knit, and know each other, and yes, they will talk about you. Don't call ALL of them b/c when they realize you've said the same thing to each it will sound insincere [sp???] Wait AT LEAST 2-3 weeks, and then call your top 2 or three places. The reality of it is most people are going to be annoyed if you take up valuable time when they could have been billing if they haven't yet had a chance to look at your resume. Good Luck!
