I give you guys the update on Eta Kappa's recruitment. I'm an alumn, so all I can do during the parties is hang in the kitchen and make drinks and stuff...but I'm still there so I hear a lot, etc.

We are doing fantastic! After round 1, we had an 82% return rate (there are 6 sororities on campus and they can only visit 4 for round 2). Then after round 2 - out of the 239 girls still going through recruitment 144!!!! put us as their first choice (this was confirmed with the Panhellenic advisor - who was drop-jawed about how well the "young" chapter was doing!) to return to for round 3!

Tonight was round 3 (skit night!). The skit was amazing! The girls looked great! The skit was awesome! We did the DG's and the City skit (with modifications) for the second year. The PNM's smiled, giggled, and laughed the entire time! Most of the other chapters on campus do only "song & dance" for their skits...so actually having a plot and dialogue must have been refreshing. We served shirley temples (with cherries), pink lemonade (with lemonslices), and water (with limes) in glass gobblets with the rim dipped in pink water and then white sugar (to give a soft pink frosted look!) They looked adorable!

I can't wait to find out how the numbers look after tonight. NCSU has a weird schedule though and pref night (round 4) isn't until Thursday! You better believe I'll be there though to help serve again! I'm so excited! The girls are all floored with the qualities of the PNS's!
