Have you ever heard the saying "Be careful what you wish for"? I think back (1,000 HA!) years ago when I went through rush. I didn't get chosen (even for pref night) to the "biggest" or "best" sororities. Nevertheless, I pledged a sorority. Now, literally 30 years later, my sorority sisters are my lifelong friends even though we live many states apart. We don't talk every week, or every month, but when we do, it's a 2-hour chat full of laughs. It's like we never missed a beat, yet it's been more than 10 years since we visited face to face. I look back and, like you, think "what if?" The difference is that I am confident that it couldn't have been any better than this. I cringe to think who/what I would have missed out on. God is an expert at making lemonade out of lemons. Don't let your regrets keep you from accepting your blessings!
