My thought was always that if someone says they want to de-pin during their new member period, then they will likely have other issues in the long run. I saw it several times. You can talk someone out of it, but half the time they'll just dis-associate later, and cause more problems. I never wanted anyone there that didn't want to be there. And during all the drama and petty crap, I always knew that in a few years (days in some cases) none of that would matter, and that what would matter was the lasting friendships I had made, and would continue to make as an alumnae, through my GLO. It was always in my heart, but for some it's not.
