bebe_cHiCk17, funny thing is that we are only a few months apart in age, be is from Oklahoma and I grew up in Oklahoma. I had never heard of the guy until a girl at TGI Fridays one night after work kept asking be if I was him or if I were related to him. I tracked down some photos and look nothing like his publicity shots with all the make-up and hairspray, but if you ever see him on video of a concert he did at Rockingham we could be identical twins. My son even called it 'uncanny'. My mother even got calls from her friends who saw Joe D. on Letterman one night, they thought I might have changed my name and started singing country music. I am an old rocker from way back, Black Sabbath, KISS, AC/DC, Dio, and Metallica, so I was never exposed to Joe Diffie.
