You hit the nail on the head with my animosity towards ponchos. They were nasty in the 70's, and thirty years later still nasty. I am still not okay with high heels and jeans. When the acid wash with the rips along the buttcheeks comes back, I don't know what I shall do. Oh and gauchos, those need to just stay away.
Why were the songs we sang to hand games as children sooooo dirty? In Rockin' Robin why was someone standing on the corner selling fruit cocktail (complete with pointing to body parts)? Five year olds talking about being sexy and having the rhythm of the hot dog. Hot dogs don't have rhythm!!!!
