What would be interesting is to see who applied for what jobs. If the majority of your applicants for sales positions are white and the majority of applicants for stock positions are black, well it's understandable. I'm not sure we have enough information to make a judgement here.
It wouldn't be hard with the right documentation to see what was really going on here.
