meetings are done on campus, recruitment is done on campus and ritual has to be done somewhere on campus as well. when it comes down to ritual, we choose a room with little or not windows and block out any windows left
we have our socials at bars downtown....they are not permitted at houses.
we have dorms on campus, we just dont have sorority floors on dorms. i go to a commuter school, where 85% of us live off campus.

I feel the same way. A lot of people (not at greekchat) have commented that not having greek housing means that I have a "Fake Greek Experience." It is such complete bull! The Greek Community at my school is wonderful. For the most part we all get along very well, and are very supportive of one another.

things at your school are identical to our school. we actually have one fraternity house in the city but it's because they fell under the grandfather clause a few years ago.
my school has discussed building greek housing and everyone said no. our school will never be a big "greek" campus. i would like to see it bigger but stronger but it would not work if it dominated.
