For anyone other than yours truly who might prefer a Hindu meal - never EVER get one flying into India. Sorry, world, but most folks that are non-Hindu don't really have much clue how to prepare a tasty, well-balanced, (Indian) Hindu meal. And airline food is not the best to begin with either. asking for one on sectors flying out of India is generally OK - but then, ask opinions of other travelers who've flown individual airlines before. Some airlines are notorious getting even continental breakfasts wrong - and others have better specialty meals than regular meals.
