where in Texas? Does he go to sholl here or work here? You'll have a GREAT time I am sure.
Both my dad and grandfatehr were career pilots, so I have it in my blood. I grew up in the industy. Heres an insider tip. ALWAYS leave your seatbelt on. ALWAYS. Clear -air turbulance is a major threat to passanger safety. itis completely undetectable and can happen anywhere, and the plane can drop 2000 feet or more in about 5 seconds, trhowing you out of your seat if you arent buckeld in, or even worse, slamming you into the top of the plane. You always see people on flights over the pacific that havebroken arms and stuff because the palne suddenly lost altitude and they took off their seatbelts.
Also, feel free to bring any electronic devices on board, however the FAA mandates that they be off and stowed during taske off and landing, (you cant listen to your headphones, in case there is an emergency and you need to listento the emergency instructions given by the flight attendants.)
You also cant use a cellphone while in flight or listento a radio. it messes with the transponder, which is the thing that tells the controll tower where the plane is in the sky. Kinda an important thing. Anyway, my 2 cents. If I think of anything else, I'll let youknow.
