Long Island. Not near the city, that's about an hour and a half drive. I'm on the Southern Shore, a little bit more east of the middle of the island. I don't really have an accent. But I sure can talk with exceeding speed! I slow down after I'm back in Indiana for a week though, as I get odd looks if I don't slow my speech out here, since most of them don't understand me when I speak that fast, they're not used to it, lol.
Evidentally a few other people on GC are also from the Long Island area, we've been talking about it on the GC aim chats at night. Pretty cool stuff.
