There are a lot of sales jobs that don't require a college degree. The pay potential is pretty high, but unfortunately it isn't guaranteed, so it may depend on his personality (personally, I'm a HUGE people person, but I HATE sales). Bartending/Cocktailing pays good too if you're at the right location.
