I had a greatuncle I pretty much considered my grandpa, and everytime I'd go over to his house he'd give me crackers.
Being that I was fat kid with a speech impediment, I couldn't stay "crackers" at age 2, so I called him "Ca-Ca..or Ka-ka..." however you want to spell it.
Mom said sometimes I wouldn't say both syllables and I just called him "Cac". Yeah.
And even though I knew what Caca was and I learned what Cac sounded like, I still called him that for the next 20-some years till he passed.
