No - I'm going to say nobody should make a movie called "Go and kill those participating in alternative lifestyles", a hilarious non-partisan comedy about the struggles against a hatred ingrained in WASP culture for those who just want to get it on with the same sex. Who cares what the consequences of plastering "Go and kill those participating in alternative lifestyles" are?! Freedom baby! Yeah!
I can dig the mock-secrecy, etc - but plastering the streets with "I'm gonna kill the president" bumper stickers is at the least in poor taste. Regardless of if you agree with the man's actions, this sort of shameless, potentially dangerous self-aggrandization is hollow and hypocritical. For an anti-war group to carry this slogan is the utmost in irony . . . the bad kind. If you can't really separate this from your democratic roots, then more power to you, but the connection to "FIRE! (the musical)" is weak at best.
Hopefully I don't need to explain why.
