I wrote that my reaction preceded my judgement. I had to apologize not only to the greek advisor, but the Regatta coordinator (not someone who works for my school) because she too sent me an email.
All I can say is I hope they mentioned something to the young man who wrote the initial email, had it not been for his little note, nothing would have been said. *sigh*
