Well I was a silly kid, I applied to many schools without regard for cost... or not really knowing what I wanted to do

So I applied and was accepted to:
University of Toronto
Carleton University
McGill
Cornell
Oxford
Cambridge
and with-out applying to I got offers from:
Royal Military College
West Point
Annapolis
Sandhurst
- all because of my then recent enlistment in the Canadian Reserves... but mostly for Hockey
West Point and Annapolis also courted one of my younger brothers... who knew what could have been
I admit that my Hockey playing skills may have been more prominent, than my academics, in the minds of some schools.
If money wasn't a concern, or I was more sure of what I wanted as a kid I most likely would have went to one of the British schools... civilian or military.
