I don't think anyone was talking about suing GC. They were talking about the unknown use that the poster who started this thread planned to make of coats of arms. Since that poster only said "I need them for a piece I'm doing," there's no way to know whether the use would be an infringement or not. My post early on was simply to remind the original poster that there are copyright/trademark considerations and to be sure that he or she is aware of them.
