i believe that's true. so much so that if Keyes actually did win, for the first time after several tries, i think his eyes would bug out of his head upon hearing the announcement and his mind would be like, "so what h#% do i do now?" he's prepared to discuss why he thinks America is going to Hell but not prepared to work to keep us from going there
