Yeah, what is it with girls? I am always shocked at how weak some of my female friends become when they get into a relationship. With a lot of them, I wonder if we would have become such close friends if they had been in relationships, 'cause I've been dropped to the curb a few times. Then, we have the friends w/ psycho boyfriends who leave death threats on your answering machine (it happened last semester), and the friend doesn't really care. I've since dropped her to the curb.
But back to the topic. I know I've had to break my friends away from sketchy guys who I KNOW are "walking petri dishes" for STD's and/or general shadiness (ie, at-home or at-school girlfriends, druggies, etc.). And then, some friends are just co-dependent and don't want you to hook up if it looks like they're not going to that night.
Yeah, I'm being cynical and whiny. If you want to join me, feel free.
