Go with gentle stuff: Specto-Gel, Cetaphil.

Most stuff that you buy at the beauty counter is terrible: Clinique, Kiehl's. It may "feel nice" but don't expect it to "treat" your acne.

Your face may be SENSITIVE as well, which is why I suggest that you go with the gentle stuff. I would see a dermatologis. The guy that I saw sold Cetaphil right out of his clinic.

and ACCUTANE is very effective but drying. You MUST MUST MUST NOT get pregnant while on ACCUTANE. And use lip balm like Carmex, because you will get dry lips. September would be a good time to go on ACCUTANE, because summer is ending (photosensitivity is a big deal with ACCUTANE). You can expect to be on ACCUTANE for 6-9 months, give or take.

Your condition may be hormonal related as well, in which case going on THE PILL (like Diane or Tri-Cyclen; not sure what the American brands are) may help.

GOOD LUCK!
