Of course I've heard of the Winter Music Conference. My best friend played there this past year (Trevor Lamont, see previous link for web site.)
And have I heard of that big drug fest/rave called Ultra? Of course I have! Every crackhead I know dreams of attending every year! And trust me, its because you have nice weather and drugs. I know its sad but its true, Ultra is a crackfest. And since they essentially happen at the same time it would be an easy choice for which one I'd attend-WMC!
And about my previous statement-all the people I personally know (that are just as knowledgeable about music as you or me) would say that the real shit is from Chicago!
I guess its just a difference in opinions!
