You're right James. But believe it or not NYC is a really small place when it comes to running into people you really do not want to see. So better it be on civil terms then a totally uncomfortable, uncivil situation. A main reason I decided to "speak to him on occasion" is because he happens to live in the neighborhood that my friends and I like to hang out in, as well as my new boy, who also frequents that area. If I am on speaking terms with an ex it is just easier. How many of you understand what I am saying?
