We don't do door songs per se. Our first-round parties were open houses, so PNMs could show up whenever, which makes it hard to sing them in
. A PNM would sign in and someone at the front desk would take her into the room and introduce her to a sister in the room before returning to the desk.
Later-round parties were scheduled at set times. PNMs lined up in order outside the room, sisters lined up inside, and we would sing as the PNMs entered the room and were paired with their rushers. You sang until you picked up your PNM or until the end of the song - which meant that if you weren't initially paired with someone, you had to sing LOUD toward the end!
