Ok...obviously I have some issues with that one boss. LOL
Here were the other "gems" I worked with:
- "Prima Donna Lady" This lady worked for the Enrollment Department. I worked in Academic Counseling. One of my jobs was to conduct pre-evaluations of transcripts for potential students. Enrollment Advisors are supposed to give them to me 24 hours in advance. In practice, people didn't do that, they'd wait for the student to show up for their appointment to gve them to me. Fine, they were usually pretty cool about it - they'd be patient and understood if I had a meeting or something. Though Prima Donna Lady would always walk up with her fake niceness and ask me to do it *now*. Other times she would just walk up and demand I do it. If I couldn't, she would get all huffy with me and start complaining. My supervisor (not boss lady) once caught her in the act of having a fit and finally believed Geanie and I about her behaviour.
- "Vulture Guy" started irritating me during my last two weeks at this company. After he found out I was quitting, he always seemed to be at my desk, peering into my drawers and asking me if I was going to take my stapler/pens/paperclips as if I was Office Depot and he was going shopping. He'd come by and says things like, "Ohhh you've got those notepads I've been asking for", and "say, do you think they'll let me have your computer monitor?" I was like "Dude! I haven't left yet!!!" When my co-workers finally presented me with a going away card, I saw that my buddy, Geanie, had signed a fake message from him saying, "Can I have your parking space? Vulture Guy" hehehe
- Finally, there was "Shower Lady". I have no problem with honouring people at work when they're having a special milestone in their lives. However, there was one girl who was always coming around to invite me to the latest in-office "occassion shower". In the space of a couple months, I had already gone to a wedding shower for a guy I worked with and attended a baby shower for a really nice supervisor lady who I didn't really know, but attended my department meetings. Though, that's not enough for Shower Lady. She kept trying to rope me into going to showers for people I didn't know. One day she invited me to a baby shower for a girl who worked downstairs whose name I didn't even know. I politely declined saying that I didn't know her and I couldn't really afford to put aside anymore work time to go. What I didn't know was that girl was Shower Lady's friend. She shot me a really nasty look as if I was the biggest jerk in the office for not wanting to honour the nice pregnant girl. I wondered why she would be mad, but oh well. I sometimes think that she invites everyone so as to get the maximum amount of gifts for the recipient.
Plus, Shower Lady ALWAYS skipped over my co-worker who was sitting *right next to me*. EVERY TIME she would breeze right past Geanie and loudly invite me and not her.

That irritated Geanie to no end!
Pah! Some co-workers are not cool!!
