For the most part, I've been blessed with good coworkers. <knock on wood> However, I have witnessed/experienced:
- A team meeting where everyone responded that they would attend, yet only half the team showed up or called in
- "Everyone in this room, still has a job. Your colleagues in the other room are getting their pink slips right now."
- No fewer than three of my cube-farm neighbors on the same telecon at the same time. Did it occur to you to book a conference room??
- "I can't find your timesheet. Therefore, you didn't give it to me. Therefore, I'm not paying you." (from a
former client whom I almost had to take to court to get paid... lying SOB)
