My mom is Filipino and my dad is just plain ole white. His family is from Tennessee (right on the border of Alabama) and I don't think my mom's ethnicity was ever an issue (that I know of). Which I guess is odd since southerners are supposed to be close minded and all
(and my relatives fit the southern stereotype perfectly)
