it has been 10 months since my last ticket *knock on wood*.
the first few years of driving, i was really bad. i had a lot of growing up to do. when a judge says to you, 'i do not want to see you in this courtroom again' after looking at your driving record, it is time to get serious.
i finally got myself to not care about other drivers. here in Jacksonville, most people are just vicious on the road. they do not care about anyone else.
i still get tempted and want to speed every now and then. then again, how many people do not get tempted?
i remember two years ago, i got pulled over at 2 a.m. so the cop naturally asks if i had anything to drink. my innocent my mind doesnt realize that he is talking about alcohol, so i say that i had a fruit punch earlier
he looks at me like i was trying to be smart with him. oops.
i am crossing my fingers that i make it through 2004 without a ticket. i have gotten a ticket for different reasons every year since my i got my license. the longest that i have gone without a ticket is 15 months but that was over the course of 2 years....so *knock on wood*
