Cedar Crest College in PA, (Region II), chapter designation Alpha Epsilon Kappa, is an all-female institution, so Meridith or Peace wouldn't be the first. I don't know of any others off the top of my head!
The first was Carlow College (Alpha Gamma Upsilon) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm pretty sure that Carlow & Cedar Crest is it, those are the only schools in the list at http://www.princetonreview.com/colle...womenslist.asp

Some of the other schools in this list are certainly large enough for chapters though...

Part of the problem is that some of the "women's colleges" allow men for graduate programs, and then some of *those* allow men into student groups and others do not...

My personal guess is that if one gender represents less than one-tenth of the total student body, then a chartering group made up only of the majority gender would probably get approved.
