KA Order was founded at Washington & Lee.

Right on the other two counts.

You ever see the monument in Lexington that commemorates the founding of the three?

Here's an interesting story about it -- and as an ATO, you might get a kick out of it. A Sigma Nu was commissioned by someone to create this monument in Lexington to the triad. He decided on a circle divided into thirds with info on each fraternity in each third. So there was one third of the circle on top, one faced one left and the other right (I can't remember which direction was which). The bronze circle (I think it's bronze) is mounted on some kind of a stone/concrete mounting block.

The Sigma Nu contacted KA Order and told them about the monument and said that he'd give them the side of the circle closest to W&L. They agreed. He contacted ATO and told them that they'd probably want the side of it that was closest to where ATO was founded -- VMI. They also agreed. That left one part of the circle left for the Sigma Nu part of the memorial -- the top
