Actually it could be a really POSITIVE thing if they all go into different orgs. If the school they go to is anything like my school from undergrad, there was A LOT of rivalry and problems back then amongst organizations, primarily the frats. It would have helped if people were already friends from the different organizations in terms of bettering the relations.

My friend joked that they if they did join different groups, then they could become their respective chapters IFC representatives and basically "run" the whole fraternity system in a few years.
Actually, she did point out that leadership possibilities would increase for each of them if they join different groups. Something that I believe happened with her and her friends. That they held various offices within their groups.
