Those papers can call it what they want. He questioned her on something she said. She walked away and then came back to tell him she knew what paper he was from, that he misrepresented her and then told him to shove it. In her interview with Katie Couric today she said she didn't know who he was (yet she knew who he was before when she said his paper) and then claimed she was misrepresented when she said "We have to turn back some of the creeping un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American tirades that are coming into some of our politics.’”
Anyway, this is really about her not being able to control what she says and not being the best voice in public. Her favorite comment of mine was when she told a 1,000 guests at a Women for Kerry breakfast "We had better get you women some birth control, there are so many of you here. "
Of course Dems have been going after Bush for the Bushism forever so this is only fair - and no matter what Heinz says to the public, the Dems have asked Theresa to shutup. They know she's a noodle. There are certain things people will have to accept. Republicans understand that Bush says stupid shit. We know that and it's annoying, but he ain't cooky like Theresa. We're also happy people don't get elected based on the stupid mistakes they make in daily speech, but we also recognize it's an embarassment that sticks. Right now Dems are trying to spin this mess and say she just speaks her mind and is trying to speak to the common people while telling her to stop causing embarassment.
