These parents are afraid for the safety of their children. I can respect that. I think that there are problems with violence, alcohol, and drug use and abuse in colleges that extend beyond the greek system.

Yes, that is scary to us. Add in the factor that date rape drugs did not exist then. There are more factors to consider. Why do you think we don't want out kids to repeat our mistakes?
We know what greeklife has meant to us. I feel no need to defend myself, my sorority, or my decisions.
