Correction... & More information.

Anyone at all (except a undergraduate student) may be a community advisor. Chapters are required to have two Faculty/staff advisors, one scouting/youth activities advisor and one community advisor.

From one of your posts in another forum, I see that you are in Long Beach, CA.
The Alpha Phi Omega chapter at Cal State Long Beach (Rho Gamma) is active. While i am unable to lay my hands on a direct contact address for the chapter at CSULB, the sectional chair (head elected alumni volunteer) for Greater Los Angeles is Jack Tulatammagul (section.1.chair@apo.org) . Go ahead and write him. Jack will have contact information for CSULB and also might be able to suggest other ways to get involved.

There are 6 chapters in Greater LA: UCLA, USC, Cal Poly, Cal State LA, Cal State Long Beach and UC Riverside.

Let me know how else I can help.
