My favorite things about school....
Coming out of a really interesting lecture class and feeling like I have learned something.
Seeing my brothers/friends on campus and having some free time to hang out with them.
Spending time at "the table" the area where all the fraternities/sororities hang out.
When a friend/brother buys you lunch on campus 'cause their loan check just cleared.
Spending time outside on our campus the day before a cold front blows through and it's really warm and you want to soak it up because it's going to be cold tomorrow.
The excitement that builds during the week knowing that there is going to be a party/event that everyone will be at and will be a blast.
The day after the party/event talking with your friends/brothers about all the crazy things you did/saw at the party/event.
The smell our campus has after a rain (Our campus is covered with Cedar trees) and so the whole campus/part of town smells like a cedar closet after a rain.
Greek week.
The promise/optimism of rush.
Kicking butt on a test and knowing you worked your ass off for it.
Intramural football!!!
Homecoming!
The last class day before Thanksgiving or Christmas and finding out where everyone is going and seeing how excited they are to be going to visit their friends/family.
The parties after finals.
Just a few I could think up...
