Wow. I hadn't read this thread before because I assumed it was some sort of what chapter/what school/etc are you and I find those boring, so I ignore them. Looks like I'm coming late to the party, but fine, lets get it out in the open.

I'm tired of being mocked for:
-my choice of religion
-my wedding
-my choice of registry items (just wait till you get married... there are a lot of unglamourous things that you will need )
-the fact that I spell a lot of words in the British form of spelling
-my choice of furniture

and I'm tired of my fiance, who doesn't even post here, being made fun of for being overweight.

For all I know, there could be other jokes floating around about me that I don't even realize or never see because they're deleted before I can read them.

Why haven't I posted about it before? Because, as many others have alluded to, I have a life outside the internet, and while reading posts may bother me for a moment, at the end of the day I have moved on and chosen to take their content as a reflection on the poster's maturity and class, rather than on myself. Heck, half the time I just laugh at them myself because they're true... like the posts about how many hors d'oeurves, etc. I can always turn off the computer and go on with my life if something upsets me too terribly, and that's what I choose to do.

I agree with what many people said in this thread.... in my 4 years on Greekchat (I started as Dewgirl) I have never seen GC this "angsty", and I'm tired of it. I think it's unfortunate that people are being "run off" GC because a few people decide to make them a target. Personally, I think that only adds fuel to the fire and fully intend to stay around, whether I'm being made fun of or not.

So, take from that what you will. You wanted it out in the open (AXJules, I'm not referring exclusively to you, but to the general posting public).... I've had my say.
