The Maryann's on 8th ave & 14th st. is good. There is also an amazing Belgian restaurant in that neighborhood too called Markt (14th & 9th ave). It's an awesome place to go in the summertime because of the outdoor seating and then you are surrounded by bars and clubs galore in that neighborhood. If you decide to go to the Village Idiot though watch out for the cockroaches falling from the ceiling. Cheap beer, old twangy country music and tons of NYU kids here, what more could you ask for?
